The first ever CityGreenPoint in the Netherlands is taken into use at Albert Heijn in Gemert since this week.
“In this CityGreenPoint people can deposit their old clothes, shoes, small electrical appliances, batteries, cartridges, cell phones, lamps and cooking oil. The revenue of these materials go directly to various charities. In this way Albert Heijn Gemert can work with you to give a major boost to local charities through local recycling. A fixed revenue will go to Foundation Leergeld (a permanent charity of Albert Heijn Gemert) and also on rotation to other charities that Albert Heijn Gemert chooses, such as ALS Foundation, Alpe d’Huzes, Cystic Fibrosis, children’s holiday week, etc. ”
